Brooklyn Wedding at the Box House Hotel | Modern-Day Glamour
A Warm, Modern Take on Old NYC Glamour
The Box House Hotel is a modern wedding venue tucked into the heart of North Greenpoint, Brooklyn. With a rooftop that opens up to city views and interiors full of character, it brings together industrial charm and chic sophistication in a way that feels both inviting and unexpected. It is a place for couples who love New York and want their celebration to reflect that energy, with a little edge, a lot of style, and a story that unfolds room by room.
Bringing a Box House Hotel Vision to Life
K and O’s wedding is one we will not soon forget. From the moment we met this incredible couple, we had a feeling their vision would translate into something truly special. Over the course of a year, we worked closely together to design an experience that reflected not just their style, but their story, layering thoughtful details, curated moments, and personal touches throughout the day.
To bring their vision to life, we assembled a creative team of trusted vendors who brought expertise, flexibility, and heart to every part of the planning process. Watching this celebration come together from concept to execution was a true joy.
Sophisticated Design with a Personal Edge
The design concept for this Box House Hotel wedding was inspired by old New York City glamour, reimagined with a modern-day twist. To achieve this feeling, a classic color palette of black and white was layered with tones of warm champagne and blush. Together, these hues echoed the sophistication of the venue while adding a fresh, contemporary edge that felt personal and intentional. Lush textures in the floral design and soft ambient lighting brought an elevated, atmospheric touch throughout the space.
To immerse guests in the experience, we focused on highly personalized tablescapes and meaningful design details. Every element was chosen to reflect the couple’s style and draw from the spirit of the city they love. After a luxurious multi-course dinner, the celebration continued with a champagne tower moment as the newlyweds popped a bottle and poured it over a stack of coupe glasses—an unforgettable twist on the classic wedding toast. The energy never dipped, with a packed dance floor and a vibrant crowd that carried the celebration well into the night.
Two of the most magical moments came as the evening drew to a close. Before heading out to join their guests for a sparkler send-off, the couple shared a private last dance in the softly lit ballroom—a quiet, meaningful pause to take it all in. Outside, guests lined the walkway with sparklers in hand, closing out the night with warmth, celebration, and joy.
