The Makings of a Destination Wedding in the Greek Islands
Mykonos, renowned for its breathtaking vistas and glittering ambiance, provided the perfect canvas for Raina and Stewart’s dream wedding. Collaborating with Alpine Creative Group, a leading invitation designer based in New York City, the couple crafted bespoke invitations, setting the tone for such an occasion.
After landing in the Greek Isles, guests were greeted with monogrammed and locally sourced welcome amenities. Love Me Do Creative Studio, an esteemed Athens-based artisan, curated personalized gift bags, featuring a delightful array of locally sourced treasures, to welcome guests to this enchanting destination.

Festivities commenced with a themed welcome party at Branco Mykonos, an iconic sun-kissed resort located on Platis Gialos Beach, where guests adorned themselves in gold and white, basking in the joyous atmosphere.
On the second day, celebrations unfolded with an elegant rehearsal dinner at Interni, a renowned restaurant nestled in the heart of Mykonos Town. Before dinner, guests were delighted to a parade led by a live band through the whitewashed alleys. Once inside, Raina, Stewart, and their families enjoyed a true Greek dinner experience in blue and white fashion. Performers hosted a mesmerizing light show, and guests enjoyed an evening of dancing, rich culture, and paper napkin-throwing, of course.
A Black Tie Affair at Santa Marina Resort
The pinnacle of the weekend unfolded at the exclusive Santa Marina Resort, a premier luxury destination in Mykonos. Sunshine danced on the water as Raina and Stewart’s glamorous wedding commenced, featuring opulent decor, moving commemorations, and serene melodies against the backdrop of Santa Marina’s iconic Oasis Pool.
The celebration transitioned seamlessly into an enchanted garden reception, adorned with vibrant floral arrangements and bespoke tablescapes. The bride and groom made their grand entrance, and everyone danced the night away under the vibrant seaside lights. The night reached a peak as Raina and Stewart listened to toasts and cut their wedding cake surrounded by their loved ones. Just when it seemed like the evening couldn’t get better, guests were treated to a surprise fireworks display.
What is clear is that the joy felt during this wedding weekend extended beyond the time in Greece. Every detail, from world-class design to carefully chosen gifts, heartfelt speeches, and loved ones flying from around the world, reflected the love of this incredible couple and the profound impact they have on those in their life. This celebration was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we were honored to help bring it to life.
